Dylan Thomas was a poet and reporter from Swansea, South Wales. He was a junior reporter for a few years with the South Wales Daily Post, but by 1932, he left his job to work on poetry full-time. Thomas’ first book, 18 Poems, was published in 1934.
Thomas wrote many other collections, including In Country Sleep, And Other Poems (1952), which contains perhaps his most well-known poem, “Do not go gentle into that good night.”
