Pierre Reverdy was a poet and writer from Narbonne, France. He published his first collection of poetry, Poems en prose, in 1915. He published many more collections in his youth, including La Lucarne ovale (1916), La Guitare endormie (1919), and Cravates de chanvre (1922). A collection of Reverdy’s early poems was also released as Les Epaves du ciel in 1924.
