Erin Harris's Preferences
I represent books for both adults and teens. In YA, I’m seeking bold, brave, and lyrical voices. I gravitate toward books that engage with issues of social justice, and I’m especially committed to representing #Ownvoices and to bringing underrepresented viewpoints and stories to the forefront of the cultural conversation. I’m mainly seeking YA contemporary, YA fantasy with unique world-building, and YA novels with mystery, suspense, or speculative elements – though I remain open to being surprised by what grabs me. I value storytelling and language equally, and I’m keen to champion novels with strong female protagonists. (I do not represent middle grade or picture books).
