Tunde Lakoju

Tunde Lakoju is a Nigerian politician, academic, and writer. He was educated at the University of Ife, and his poem “Missing!” was published in the 46th issue of the literary magazine Transition in 1974 while he was still a student. Lakoju received a doctorate from the University of Wales and was a senior lecturer at Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria, Nigeria. His play The Last Saturday was broadcast in the BBC’s African Theatre series. From 1999 to 2003, Lakoju represented Akoko-Edo Federal Constituency in Nigeria’s House of Representatives.
