Ashley Makue is a writer and spoken word artist and a current State of Poetry slam champion of the Western Cape. She is from South Africa. She is influenced by Afrocentrosim and art. Makue writes for AfroElle magazine and her chapbook I Know how to Fix Myself was published in 2017.
