Ngwatilo Mawiyoo is a Kenyan poet and editor living in Nairobi. She earned a BA in Music from St. Lawrence University and her MFA in Creative Writing from the University of British Columbia. Mawiyoo is a Callaloo Fellow and a recipient of the Bundanon Trust Residency through The Africa Centre. Mawiyoo currently works for a digital lifestyle magazine in Nairobi.
