Phantom Kangaroo
About
I had read about strange occurrences of kangaroos appearing in areas where they should not be. They were described as ghost-like, visible for only seconds, before disappearing or hopping through walls. They seem to say: I am real and I am a hoax, and so are you. Sometimes poems seem to say the same thing. Phantom Kangaroo is a space for these poems — the otherworldly, mystical, bizarre.

Submission Guidelines
Phantom Kangaroo is published twice a year and features 13 poems by 13 poets. Poetry and art submissions are accepted on a periodic basis.
The next reading period will open on June 13, 2021 and close August 13, 2021.
Phantom Kangaroo accepts poetry in all forms and styles, as long as the subject matter is esoteric, paranormal, surreal, mystical, or supernatural.
Simultaneous submissions accepted.
Response time will be somewhere between 1-30 days.
Published poets will receive two complimentary copies of the print issue.
