Located in England, Platypus Press is an indie publisher of poetry, fiction and narrative non-fiction. It was founded in 2015 by Michelle Tudor and Peter Barnfather. It was featured in Entropy’s “Best of 2017: Presses, Magazines, Publishers and Journals” list and was also features in Poets and Writers. The books of poetry published include the following: Hijito by Carlos Andrees Gomez, The Sea that Beckoned by Angela Gabrielle Fabunan, Mannish Tongues by jayy dodd, Ghosts Still Walking by Do Nguyen Mai, and Giant by Richard Georges. Platypus Press has also published anthologies such as Shards of Glass edited by L.G. Core and A Portrait in Blues: An Anthology of Identity, Gender and Bodies edited by jayy dodd.
