Bob Hicok is a professor at the Virginia Tech College of Liberal Arts and Humanities. He has published numerous books and poems, appearing in the New York Times, Poetry Magazine, The Paris Review, The Southern Review, and The American Poetry Review. He has also had his poetry recognized nationally by many awards and nominations. He was awarded the Felix Pollack Prize in Poetry for his first book of poems, The Legend of Light.
