Leza Bezawork Grönlund was born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and raised in Northern Sweden. She was first published in 2017, with her book Slag. Much of her writing focuses on the hope and revolutionary ideas of Ethiopian students from the 1970s. She shares in the hopes for a just society and writes about them as these dreams resurface.
