Tijan M. Sallah is a poet based in Gambia. He was awarded the Francis Hutchn from Berea College Lerni Peters, the most well known Gambian writer and mentor to Sallah, says Sallah’s writing in prolific. He is seen as the most consistent and original writer of his generation. His talents have become well known.
